This paper is constructed to give the reader an overview of the insurance industry through one of the nation's best insurance companies. This paper outlines State Farm Insurance from its tiny beginning in 1922 to one of the nation's largest today. The history of State Farm from its owner to its policies are covered. Furthermore, current policies are described in depth with actual quotes from a State Farm agent. Some policy implications such as no-fault automobile insurance and the Natural Disaster Protection Act are also covered. I want the reader to get an overview of all types of insurance and their coverages. This paper should do that and more. I will show how State Farm sells policies and serves their policyholders. I think this paper will show how one insurance company got to the top of the market and how it remains there today.en_US
