Abstract
My Senior Individualized Project is based upon the work experience I gained while working at Ford Motor Company. I worked in the Worldwide Direct Marketing Operations (WDMO) division in Brentwood, England. WDMO was set up to keep an intense relationship with Ford dealerships in developing countries. These countries are stable enough to support a dealership but still need continual support and guidance. While working in this department I carried out numerous tasks. My two main responsibilities were adjusting prices when necessary to keep Ford vehicles competitive in the markets and the launch of four different vehicles into the WDMO markets. I also dealt with pricing reviews where an intense study of the current economic situation was evaluated and in doing so, Ford's market strategy was updated. I carried out an in depth look at all of the tax and duty rates for each of WDMO's markets. I have explained each of my responsibilities in great detail on pages three through twenty.
