Abstract
In writing this paper I have tried to convey what the meaning of motivation means to me. Business and athletics have been, and always been, a strong part of my life. The relationships that I have gained in my athletic career and are about to gain in my business career will impact the rest of my life. Motivation to be the best that I can, as well as trying to get the best out of those around me is something that I strive for. My future in business is dependent on whether I can keep myself motivated and always wanting the best for my family and myself. It is not hard to incorporate my religious beliefs into the equation, nor do I think it should be. I believe that everyone should have a strong base to lean on, and for my family it is our Christian faith. Sports have given me a competitive nature that will no doubt spill over into my business career. The commitment and dedication that I have put toward my athletic life is now going to be focused on being successful in my business career. By keeping my faith intact I will hopefully be able to handle the success that I am striving for. My faith will also keep me motivated in never giving in to failure, and doing what is right for those I care about along with myself.
