Abstract
A twenty-one year old male collegiate football player suffered a class A2 fracture to the olecranon process of his right elbow. This injury required surgery where Dr. Burnett of Kalamazoo Valley Orthopedics performed a technique. referred to as tension band wiring. This case is interesting because the bone experienced comminution, or disintegration, mostly localized on the anterior aspect. The case is followed from the pin insertion surgery, through rehabilitation, until pin removal surgery.
