Intranets as a New Corporate Tool: An Examination of New Technology Changing Corporate Culture
Abstract
This project represents the culmination of nearly seven months of internship at
Valassis Communications Inc. in addition to numerous hours of thought and investigation
of intranet and Internet technologies. I have tried to create an unbiased overview of
intranets and the benefits and lessons they can provide to both business and people.
Integrating the numerous experiences I had at Valassis with the paper would be
impossible but I hope that the underlying tones of common sense and analysis shine
through.
