Abstract
Two years ago while doing my Career Development at Naval Research Laboratories (NRL), Washington, D.c., I began searching for a SIP internship there that would utilize my mathematical skills as well as the skimpy amount of computer science knowledge I had gathered through a few classes. The internship I obtained was with the ENEWS Program (Effectiveness for Naval Electronic Warfare systems), and they had promised me a project vast enough to meet graduate-level thesis standards. Consequently, I wasn't able to finish the program they had assigned to me. But throughout the two-and-a-half months I spent there this year, I had my fill of mathematical derivations and code-writing. The project described in this report is what I accomplished in the time allotted. I have included in the epilogue the tasks that remain to be completed which I myself may tackle if I accept NRL's post-college-graduate employment offer.
