Abstract
As part of a General Motors Scholarship, I did my Senior Individualized Project at Pontiac Motor Division of General Motors Corporation in Pontiac, Michigan. I worked there as an intern from September 4 through December 21, 1984, performing such functions as computer programming and training to become a permanent data processing employee for General Motors. The following is a report on my experiences there. This written version of my SIP consists of three parts. The first part is a narration of the training program, which I had to finish in order to begin working on "real" work assignments. Secondly, a description of my work assignments is included. Finally, I will describe the computerized system which I worked on for most of my assignments.
