Improving User Interfaces During Development

Abstract

20 years after the introduction of the personal computer, novice computers users are still experiencing software usability problems. Most usability problems are difficulties with the user interface. One possible solution is to address usability problems during software development. During development, major changes can be made to the user interface without effecting a large number of computer users.
