Abstract
During my work experience at Bronson Methodist Hospital, I had a,chance to learn an unlimited amount about the medical profession. My interests were varied, but during the first few weeks, I took a strong interest in breast cancer. Because the diagnoses of malignant tumors (in particular, cancerous breast tumors) were made in the department where I was working (the histology lab by the pathologist), I had direct contact with this particular subject. With the help of the pathologists, I learned the gross and microscopic features by direct observation. I would like to relate my knowledge of breast cancer in this portion of my SIP.
