My work and experience was varied during this quarter. Patients were referred to me, and I set up appointments with them which would hopefully fall sometime durirlg their midcycle. I examined the women daily which entailed a pelvic examination and a blood sample from a finger prick. Laboratory work was done daily on the samples obtained. I also sat in on the hospital gynecology clinic and saw patients there. I attended a class taught by Dr. Behrman at the School of Public Health in population planning and visited the operating room to observe several procedures.
