Abstract
This paper has been divided into three separate sections for convenience. In the first section. I have reported on most of the autopsies that I worked on. Due to the nature of some of the cases, I was unable to make a report on all the autopsies. The reports that I made were from the autopsy reports written by the pathologists: Dr. Allen Russcher, Dr. Thomas Burkhardt and Dr. Ronald Schuen. The two major sections of my reports, the autopsy findings and microscopic examinations, are summaries made from the doctor's reports. The section explaining the final diagnosis is taken directly from the doctor's reports as they wrote it. The second section is, my research paper on liver cirrhosis due to alcohol. In this section I have first explained the structure and function of the normal liver then compared this to the cirrhotic liver. The third section is an extension of the second section. Here I have compared actual tissue sections taken from normal organs to sections taken from a patient stricken with alcoholic cirrhosis.
