    Abstract
I have tried in this paper to rely as much, as possible, solely on my two original texts: the written works of Julian of Norwich and Margery Kempe. Other texts were used to provide background .. information and continental points of reference for these two extraordinary English women. All sources were drawn from he collections of Kalamazoo College and Western Michigan University.
