Abstract
As a student assistant at the Kalamazoo Public Museum, I conducted an analysis of the accessibility of local history documents and artifacts in various institutions in the city of Kalamazoo. My analysis was conducted in various phases. In the first half of this project, I have presented a local history research guide, a list of local history sources, clippings, advertisements and articles pertaining to George W. Winslow and his immediate family and an evaluation of the accessibility of local history documents and artifacts in local institutions in the city of Kalamazoo. The second half of this project deals with the accessibility of local history documents and artifacts in the Kalamazoo Public Museum. In this section I have included an annotated listing to the manuscript collection of George W. Winslow and his family.
