    Abstract
The intent of this project was to examine whether HCX Board could serve as the basis for a low cost, plastic solar water heater for both low temperature applications (such as pool heating) and high temperature applications (such as domestic hot water heating). Several design possibilities were tried, relevant thermal properties measured, and a cost analysis performed.
