Abstract
The two amplifiers built in this project comprise a high quality audio-frequency ampl1fier system. Used in conjuction with each other, they should be capable
of providing all the gain required to drive almost any hi-fi speaker system using any available source. The signal from the output of the source, eg. record
player, tape player or a tuner is first amplified by the pre-amplified (pre-amp), and then by the power-amplifier (power amp). The pre amp shapes the signal according to the listener's requirements. All the tone controls are therefore found here. It also gives the
signal a slight gain -- just enough for the sensitivity f the power amp. The power amp picks up this signal and amplifies it to the required level. This is fed directly to the speakers.
