dc.description.abstractThe atomic dipole oscillator strength distribution and its moments S(µ) and L (µ), -6 < µ <1, are calculated for K through Kr. The oscillator strengths are based on Hartree-Slater wave functions. Results are compared with values of the photoionization cross section, static dipole polarizability, and mean excitation energy for stopping power.en_US
