dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this paper was to investigate saccadic eye movements made in response to specific target stimuli, and hopefully learn something about how the eyeball's position is controlled in humans. Most of the work involved designing and building an interface to allow a mini-computer to control the target and to record the eye movements. The interface is essentially complete and almost ready for testing. Testing could not begin until all of the K-box was complete. The target is designed but also had to wait for parts to arrive. The software to run the experiment is written and requires only small changes. The experiment could be ready to run in a few short weeks if one worked diligently on the unfinished hardware.en_US
