Equilibrium in a Damped, Heteroparametrically Driven Simple Pendulum
Abstract
The object of this SIP was first to experimentally obtain an equilibrium
state between the energy that is being pumped into the pendulum's
swing via a periodic variation of its length and the energy that is lost
to air resistance experienced by the pendulum bob. Secondly, the object
was to explain the experimental result's by means of a computer simulation
of the system.
