An Electronic Proportional Control System

Abstract

This Thesis describes the design and operation of a proportional control system. The control system was intended to be used with a radio link, which would carry the information for control, to control a small model airplane. It was then hoped that the airplane could be used to carry out simple atmospheric research. However, the radio link never worked satisfactorily. Therefore the control system alone will be described in this thesis, with a short section on an RF transmitter which was constructed in Appendix 1.
