Flux Flow Resistance in YBa2Cu3O7 Superconductors
Abstract
This paper begins with a general overview and purpose of the project.
An historical account of superconductivity is presented, followed by a simplistic explanation of the basic characteristics of superconductors. Pertinent
phenomena of these materials and how they relate to the project at hand are
then discussed. This paper does not indulge in the theory of
superconductivity, as this subject is still unclear to all researchers. Methods
and concerns of the experiment are detailed next, along with the resolutions to
certain problems. Selected data are provided, and the ensuing analysis and
conclusions are given. The overall success of the project is encouraging, and
the results should be beneficial to many other research groups.
