Electrical and Microstructural Properties of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O Superconductors
Abstract
This paper begins with some general statements about the uses
and history of superconductors. A detailed explanation of the theory of
superconductivity has been omitted though some brief empirical
characteristics are discussed. An introduction to the superconductor
which forms the focus of this paper is followed by a description of the
experimental and analytical methods used in this study. Detailed
discussion of the results is limited to only the "best" sample within a
given section of the study; information about other samples is
contained in tabular form in the appendices. This work is concluded
with suggestions for future research.
