The Middle Atmosphere High Resolution Spectrograph Investigation: Theory and pre flight calibration
Abstract
This report describes the Middle Atmosphere High Resolution Spectrograph Investigation, an on going investigation at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in Washington, D.C. I have been working under the supervision of Bob Conway at NRL from-leptember 6, 1991 until January 8, 1992. This report is focused on the
pre flight calibration efforts, as this is what I spent the most time on. Other ongoing efforts include development of the ground support equipment and development of the detector and detector electronics. All of these efforts will be continued in the near future.
