Abstract
The properties of photo refractive materials have displayed the possibility of being used for a new form of data storage. Currently, the majority of successful experiments that display this form of storage are very expensive to conduct. This paper discusses how effective these experiments can be conducted using lasers of wavelengths 633nm and 532nm at room temperature. Conditions such as these are relatively inexpensive, allowing for the potential of research and applications in numerous fields. Research along these lines will hopefully lead to a cost effective application of photorefractive materials such as optical data storage.
