MetadataShow full item record
This paper is a study of the aspects of teaching biology to elementary school children in an urban area. It. is intended to be part of my own preparation in a possible future of teaching. It could be of value to anyone thinking about teaching elementary school children whether as a classroom teacher, an outdoor educator or in connection with a nature studies program. In the elementary level, I have oriented this study primarily toward the fifth and sixth grades, but many of the concepts presented here can apply to above and below these grades.
