Student teaching is the real thing, not just practice, because you will be teaching lively, responsive young adults by yourself. The student teaching internship was valuable and somewhat challenging experience. It is helpful in the way that you can receive a valuable education and hands on experience from someone that knows the ins and outs of the educational system. You have a classroom setting to yourself in order to improve your teaching skills with real secondary students. The biggest of challenges is there are so many responsibilities you must accept in such a short period of time. The challenge of crossing from student to professional is difficult. It is somewhat hard seeing yourself as a professional this week when you were just a student last week.Administrator only due to personally identifying information in case study.
