Academic and Behavioral Modification for Middle School Students Performing Below Their Level: A Case Study
MetadataShow full item record
This paper discusses the impact of different forms of intervention for at-risk students through the use of a case study. Specifically, interventions such as individualized tutoring, performance review, differentiation, and monitoring are described. Within the context of these intervention strategies is a brief discussion of interviews between the author and the case study. This provides background information as to the possible causation of apathy towards learning and perhaps why schools are ineffective in dealing with this type of at-risk student with both academic and behavioral deficiencies.
