Research has shown that parental involvement is crucial to the education of students in secondary education. However, the definition of proper involvement is varied, and there has been question as to who is responsible for involving parents in education. The school, especially the teachers, must make the effort to communicate with parents, and continue this communication in order to build a solid relationship with them. In doing so, potential problems can be avoided. These problems are not only with students, but may also include the parents and other staff within the school.en_US
