Abstract
Looking Closer into Risk Analysis is the theme of this chemistry manual. Risk analysis is the mechanism that allows high school instructors to look at health and safety factors from all sides before performing and administering experiments. It encourages chemistry instructors to look at the degree of safety that the experiments uphold before presenting them to students. This procedure will allow the students' safety to be prioritized before exposing them to chemical hazards. This manual is intended to be used as a reference tool for high school teachers who want to obtain information of laboratory health and safety issues. It is easy to use and it presents an array of laboratory practices that focus on: chemical labeling, storage, personal protective equipment, first aid and emergency tactics, and chemical disposal methods.
