Abstract
I will be researching the idea of hometown loyalty, the reasons why people go back to their hometowns to live, work, and raise their own families. I will also discuss some issues on what people do to contribute to their communities as a form of hometown loyalty. Also, I will be presenting some of my personal experiences and observations as well as the experiences and observations of others who have returned to their hometowns to live and work. Another idea I will be researching is some of the economic reasons why it is important for people to remain or return to their hometowns. I will be researching this information in connection with my student teaching at my hometown school along with other teachers at the school that have returned to work at their hometown school.
