Abstract
The following is a case study report of my student teaching
internship from the Fall of 1993. I student taught at the Kazoo School, a
small, private, progressive school in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Enrollment is
approximately 125 students, K-8, although classes are not divided by
"grade", but by "base group". A student is placed in a base group based on
his/her developmental needs, not simply his/her age.
