A Case Study
Fall Quarter 1988, I completed my student teaching at Lee M. Thurston High School in the South Redford School District. This experience involved several weeks of classroom observation in different departments, and ten weeks of teaching in the French Department. I conclude my student teaching feeling truly satisfied with a very rich and fulfilling experience. In this case study, I shall focus on a particular student who especially influenced my first impressions of the teaching world. My struggle with her helped me to establish and confirm my principles of teaching.
