Abstract
The present study attempts to describe the behavior of Girella relative to the environmental parameters, particularly tide and time of day. Observations were made at different times of the day and at different tide levels in an attempt to determine the activity patterns of Girella nigricans. The hypothesis of this study is; There is a difference in the behavior of juveniles and adults and the activity patterns of this species is controlled by a diel and/or tidal cycle.
