A 14 C-Tracer Investigation of Possible Trophic Associations between Meiofauna, Macrofauna, and Microflora in a Georgia Salt Marsh of Sapelo Island
Abstract
This paper is the result of a ten week field study
done at the University of Georgia Marine Institute on
Sapelo Island, Georgia, under the supervision of Dr. Roy
Robertson, Department of Ecology and Marine Biology,
University of Georgia. Trophic associations between several
benthic faunal groups was chosen to be investigated
as general relationships have been hypothesized, but many
studies concerning this have been limited by inadequate
field methods.
