The Morphological Development of Apple Leaf and Fruit Cuticular Membranes with Special Reference to Cuticular Penetration

The morphological development of isolated cuticular membranes from apple fruit and leaves (Malus pumila L. "Jonared") was studied over a 10-week period. Total wax and cuticular membrane weight were quantitated. Interpretations of data were in special reference to penetration of applied insecticides.
