Studies in Basidial Nuclear Behavior of Selected species of Clavarioid Cantharelloid Fungi
MetadataShow full item record
Basidial nuclear behavior was examined in several pivotal taxa of Homobasidiomycetes in order to help elucidate their phylogenetic position in conjunction with known biochemical and morphological characters. The taxa investigated are: I. Cantharellus minor, II. Clavulinopsis spp. and III. Multiclavula mucida. Meiotic figures in the basidium were stained using clemengon's technique.
