First and foremost, I would like to say that I was very nervous prior to my student teaching experience. I was lacking confidence in my teaching abilities, and I wasn't sure if I could handle the responsibilities of a student teacher. This insecurity, however, was quickly put to rest as my internship took full effect. I can honestly say that my student teaching internship shaped into one of the most incredible and positive experiences that I have ever been associated with. I was placed in probably the best situation that could have been made possible. My supervising teacher, school administrators, students, and faculty helped make the experience successful and genuine. I found out that I love teaching and it is what I want to do for the rest of my life. To be successful teacher, I believe there is a need for the passion to teach. You have to want to reach these children, and make a difference in their lives. You need not just go through the motions; you must care about your students and love your job. I found that I am willing to take that extra step, I have found my passion.Administrator only due to personally identifying information in case study.
