My student-teaching at Tappan Intermediate School was a very positive experience. I really was not quite sure of what to expect before I began, but I had high hopes of a positive experience, in which my presence in the classroom would make a difference. During my first week at Tappan, which was the week before their Christmas vacation, the high hopes that I had of making a difference as a student-teacher seemed to diminish as I made my observations of the school and classroom at which I was to spend the next eleven weeks of my Kalamazoo College career.Administrator only due to personally identifying information in case study.
