I did my student teaching at Portage Northern High School in Portage, MI
where I primarily taught first year French, third year French and also
helped out With the yearbook. This was a tremendous experience because it gave me a real flavor for what teaching is all about; teaching students
subject matter. I took a real interest in a few of my students. I tried to get
to know as many of them as I could but time limitations did not allow me to
get to know all of, them. There were several students, I would have liked
to have chosen for this case study but unfortunately I only had the time to
do one of them. It was difficult to chose which student to observe since they all have their own unique qualities. I chose Rob, one of my third year French
students, because he seemed to improve the most of all of my students.
