Abstract
In preparing the text of this senior individualized project, I found great difficulty in knowing exactly what
to include. Writing for the English Department, I at first
believed I should shelve the political, legislative information
and include only those experiences and impressions concerning
the production of the various communications.
The senior individualized project, however, is
designed to be a culmination of the student's career and
academic interests at Kalamazoo College. Working at IBA,
I was able to combine my academic interest in political
structure and organization with the actual, journalistic,
technical and mechanical work of producing communications.
I tried to treat both facets of my internship fairly in
this paper; I hope I succeeded.
