Abstract
The first part of my project consists of journal entries made
during the first two months of my research quarter. Some of them
are my reactions to the literature I read and others are
observations I made. But for the most part my journal was a
device in which I tried to articulate people's positions, my
positions, and figure out what in philosophy's name I was doing.
Due to the rambling and spouting nature of these entries only a
chronological order could render them coherent and perhaps show
that they improved over time.
The second part is a paper entitled Relational Nursing Ethics
in which I try to support an ethical inquiry into nursing's
relationships instead of a deductivistic analysis of nursing
dilemmas in terms of a particular moral theory's rules and
principles.
