Two Experiences Culminating into One: The Villa of Maxentius Fieldschool; A Comparative Archaeological and Intercultural Analysis

This paper is organized into three chapters. Chapter One is an archaeological comparison that addresses the similarities and differences in material and non-material culture I experienced while working at TRC, studying at the AUR and participating in the VMAX archaeological fieldschool. In Chapter Two, I focus upon my varying degrees of Italian intercultural experiences during AUR and VMAX foreign study terms in Rome. I conclude with a reflective conclusion section that explores my personal growth as a result of these three experiential education programs and the challenges of preparing this paper.
