Creative Writing and Children: A Teacher's Journal

The body of the paper is an illustration of my experience "teaching" creative writing to the students of Alma Consolidated. It consists of a journal divided into sections marking the major approach used each week. Weeks are then subdivided into teaching days. The separate day is further divided into segments describing a specific experience within a certain class. The poetry written on that day follows each account. (It should be noted that those poems with an asterisk by the name were those read by that student in the program at the end of the nine weeks).
