My Senior Individualized Project is the combination of not only the poetry I've written based on my experiences in New Orleans, Louisiana in the spring and summer of 2010, but also a comment on my college career, my loves and losses, and my unique placement at this transitional point in my life. To describe every twist and turn that plagued me through my writing process would be fruitless, but within the chaos I had moments of unprecedented clarity regarding who I am and who I strive to be as a writer. When I began this project I had no way of knowing how it would ultimately look as a finished product, which is one of the joys of creative work, and also one of my greatest fears.en_US
