Through this study two methods of separation of the Australia antigen from blood serum have been proposed. Both of these methods, immunoabsorption and ultrafiltration have been shown to be valid methods to facilitate the separation of the Au- antigen. This study has not, however, been successful in shedding any light on the subject of the character and identity of the Anti-Australian antigen antibody. Another port ion of the SIP project was to become familiar with the use of the computer as a user. The level of competence achieved in this area of the project lies in the fact that the computer was enlisted to prepare and arrange this paper in its entirety.
