Abstract
In writing this paper I have tried to support the view that there are indirect effects to pest control, and that there is a great deal of evidence to support this statement. Due to the immensity of the world of pesticide controls I have largely restricted myself to a discussion of the chlorinated hydrocarbons and their use as insecticides. I chose this aspect because I believe it is the one that is presently staring us in the face, and under most discussion at the present time.
