Selected Experiments Involving Disodium Cromagylcate (Intal)
MetadataShow full item record
Disodium cromoglycate(Intal) is a white, odorless powder that is practically insoluble in alcohol, with a molecular weight of approximately 512. Several experiments were run which determined coefficient in an octanol-water system as 3% with and 2.1% without the addition of phospholipidis, and that no change was shown in the spectrum of Intal in combination with phospholipids. In addition it was determined that Intal could move across or through a cell membrane by equilibrium dialysis or a process similar to it.
