Abstract
This paper is divided into two parts. The first half gives the reader a background to environmental education--why it is needed, who it is for, and what it encompasses. The answers come from the people to whom I talked during my SIP, the articles and books I read during my SIP, and the practical experiences others and I have had during that time. The second half deals with the programs themselves. They are described, opined, and documented. I was involved in many projects. I trust some of my experiences as set forth in this paper will be helpful. I also hope this paper will convey to the reader the variety of environmental education programs in Ohio and possible anywhere.
