MetadataShow full item record
Three different stream systems in New Hampshire were sampled for aquatic Hypomycetes from Sept. 16 to Dec. 12, 1975. A total of seven species and four unidentified conidial types were observed. Three of these species and all four unidentified types are new records tor the state. Two species, Varicosporium elodeae Kegel and Dendrospora erecta Ingold, were induced to sporulate in the laboratory. The most oligotrophic habitat yielded the greatest number of species and greatest concentration of spora in the foam.
