Managing and Promoting Campus Involvement

This presentation includes tactics for cultivating the library as a center of campus pride and identity throughout the entire process of revitalization. This session addresses how to bring a campus community closer to the library and allow them their own space. Topics addressed include: building student engagement throughout design and construction, defining phases for campus community involvement, using the library dedication to build the library learning community, exhibit spaces, activities and events, and managing the library's online presence. This presentation was given at the "Undergraduate Library Planning and Revitalization" conference in Boulder, Colorado on March 20, 2007.
