Ritual Speaks : an Exploration into Contemporary Ritual Practices among Buddhist Laywomen in Colombo
Abstract
The author interviewed 25 laywomen in Colombo, Sri Lanka about the role that Buddhism and Buddhist ritual plays in their lives, how Buddhism in Sri Lanka has changed, and how the role of women has changed.
